How to Import Your e-mail Addresses into Outlook Express


This example is a continuation of the how to export your email addresses from Outlook Express. To view this click here. First copy your Outlook Express WAB file onto your desktop.

The Address Book

Click on Addresses Button from the Toolbar to Open the Address Book. If its not there then click Tools | Address Book.


Importing the Address Book

1. Select File from the Menu.

2. Click on Import and move the mouse over to Address Book (WAB)...

3. Click Address Book (WAB)...

WAB stands for Windows Address Book


4. Select the file Addresses.WAB.

5. Click the Open Button.

Outlook Express imports the addresses from your WAB file.

This can take a few seconds if you don't have many addresses or it can take a minute or two.
